Yokai: Japanese Ghosts AR Release in Herbert Park

Haunted Planet launched “Yokai: Japanese Ghosts”, a Music Art Augmented Reality (AR) game giving insights into cultural diversity and history of Japan, to Dublin’s Herbert Park amidst the cherry blossoms in yearly bloom. Amidst the cherry blossoms and terrain of Herbert Park, Haunted Planet carefully placed AR encounters according to the terrain and locative qualities of the landscape to fit into the story.

You can find these encounters yourself on Android or iOS for free by downloading the game at this link.

Yokai are supernatural entities and spirits from Japanese folklore. “Japan was a country and culture that existed between realms: the world of the everyday and the world of the supernatural” (The Snow Ghost and Other Tales, 2023). Immerse yourself in the art of Japanese Ukiyo-e masters and original music by Svetlana Rudenko. Follow the radar to find 10 music art encounters and collect them into your casebook to create your memories with a landscape.
